NamitKapoor
"Being aware of my capacity to help people for the first time completely changed the direction of my life".
It all started with an internship at Kodak, after graduating as an Electronic and Industrial Engineer in 2001. Namit's capacity for innovation lead him to invent a new and revolutionary software, saving the company $500K every year. The management team was truly impressed with his problem-solving, and decided to put him at the forefront of a group of engineers to teach them his methodology. Namit's love for teaching started right there.
It all continued in China's International School, near Shanghai, where Namit developed further teaching skills, helping students solve problems and find greater ways to learn English. Being aware of that capacity to help in a personalised way changed Namit's perspective regarding traditional education systems.
2009 arrived and Namit had already moved to Dubai, becoming the IT algorithm developer, Wealth Manager and consultant to a $100 million private family fund. Despite the professional growth experienced in this role, Namit wasn't feeling truly happy: something was missing.
After 15 years of expertise in varied roles, he decided to finally pursue his passion as a teacher. His goal was to bring value to society; to create a legacy.
The most important decision in Namit Kapoor's life started to create results in 2014 and hasn't stopped since.
Every time I used quizzes or videogames, students felt completely engaged in the classroom, completed successfully their homework, and improved their grades. This includes students with specific challenges, such as dyslexia, ADD, and other learning difficulties
In 2015 Namit started teaching in London schools – including the prestigious Chelsea Academy. Here's where he realised the real issue that was taking place within the classrooms: students had accepted that learning was a boring, useless process, and were highly unmotivated.
Thanks to his previous expertise and innovative skills, Namit Kapoor came up with a creative idea: getting inspired by trendy and popular media, he started to create specific videos and quizzes to make every lesson engaging. Namit adapted the content to fit every subject and the results were starting to show up.
The joy in students’ eyes was shining again, for the first time in years.
Namit Kapoor's learning methodology provides long-term results, understanding in depth how each child learns, focusing on natural strengths, and helping develop a set of useful skills for real-life circumstances.
“I believe in something that goes beyond passing exams. I believe in preparing students for real life. For them to successfully handle any challenge, as well as to thrive in this ever-changing professional world we currently live in”
